TREES OF KIRK IRETON PRINTS
Kirk Ireton is an agricultural village, in Derbyshire, dating back to the Bronze Age. A population of 514 with many varieties of trees. It is where I grew up. Trees and landscapes serve as a witness to the passing of time. Lithographic prints of the individual trees are sold individually.
PEACE
We all need a sanctuary of peace. Whatever denomination of faith we belong to.
For me in times of trouble, there is a particular London Church that can calm troubled spirits.

LETTING GO
Sometimes the camera sees what is not visible to the human eye. Relief can be found in ‘letting go’. These images represent that. The dissolution of ego, the blurring of certainty, surrender. Inspired by a comment from Professor Brian Cox “We know an awful lot and at the same time we know absolutely nothing”.

TRAVEL LIGHT
What does travel and motion do for the human spirit. Our perceptions and subconscious thoughts have time to evolve as our minds focus on the practicalities of transit.

THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS and the darkness has not overcome it
Without light, there would be no life. Light is colour, light is energy, it fuels life, it feeds the spirit, it inspires art, religion and science. Light does not travel in straight lines, it twists, it turns, it is still a mystery.
